LA STORIA DI MIMMO, 1999-2000, video 8'.

The protagonist of La Storia di Mimmo is my uncle who lives in a working-class neighborhood of Palermo and who observes the world from his window, never crossing the threshold into the outside world. He talks about his memories, rituals and habits. Mimmo and I are accomplices in the video, demonstrated by the extreme close-ups of the face and the obese body of Mimmo.
